  • Willingness to travel within North America as required; valid driver’s license.
  • Standards in safety (LOTO/PPE) and basic control system concepts helpful.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular site inspections and maintain documentation to verify MEP installation quality.
  • Serve as primary contact for owner reps, subcontractors, and commissioning agents to resolve issues and maintain schedules.
  • Support commissioning readiness, including pre-functional checks and load‑soak prep.
  • Lead field documentation efforts using Procore, manage punch lists and safety walkthroughs.

Job description

Join a collaborative and fast-paced project team as a Site MEP Technical Coordinator, where you will play a key role in delivering complex construction projects. This position is vital in connecting owner project requirements with onsite activities, ensuring seamless coordination between multiple trades, and supporting the commissioning process. The role offers hands‑on experience with electrical and basic mechanical/controls systems, and provides opportunities to lead documentation, quality verification, and troubleshooting efforts. Work closely with project leadership, subcontractors, and owner representatives to drive project success while upholding high standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and coordinate installation methods to ensure alignment with project design and quality standards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and maintain thorough documentation to verify compliance and quality of MEP installations.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for owner representatives, subcontractors, field service representatives, and commissioning agents to facilitate issue resolution and maintain project schedules.
  • Support commissioning readiness, including pre-functional checks and preparation for load‑soak activities.
  • Lead field documentation efforts using Procore, including managing punch lists, PTP verifications, and safety walkdowns (LOTO/PPE).
  • Maintain organized records of project documentation, such as photos, checklists, and punch items, and communicate project status and risks to leadership and clients.
  • Act as the onsite point‑of‑contact in the absence of project leadership, escalating issues as needed to keep the project on track.
  • Provide hands‑on troubleshooting support for electrical and basic mechanical/controls interfaces.
Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of construction experience, preferably with an electrical background.
  • 2 years of trade school, college, or equivalent journeyman experience.
  • Proficiency in Procore and Adobe/PDF editing tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, submittals, specifications, and one-line diagrams.
  • Working knowledge of ATS, UPS, and switchgear systems.
  • Exposure to commissioning processes and EPMS/SCADA concepts.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within North America as required.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Preferred: OSHA 30, NFPA 70E, First Aid/CPR certifications (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire); Schneider PME certification is a plus.
