Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in mechanical, electrical engineering, or related field.
• 2–4 years of construction engineering or MEP coordination experience.
• Experience reviewing drawings, specs and submittals.

Responsibilities

• Supports coordination of MEP systems across design and construction phases to help ensure system integration and alignment with project objectives.
• Assists in reviewing MEP drawings, specifications, and submittals to identify coordination requirements, constructability considerations, and potential system conflicts.
• Collaborates with architects, engineers, project engineers, and trade partners to gather coordination information and support resolution of technical issues.
• Participates in MEP coordination meetings and assists with tracking action items, documenting updates, and communicating information to project stakeholders.
• Supports coordination reviews by identifying potential conflicts between building systems and escalating issues to senior MEP coordination staff, including confirming spacing requirements and equipment access for material and equipment installation.
• Maintains coordination documentation, including models, logs, and project records that support project alignment and system integration including review and documentation of RFI and submittals.
• Develops MEP coordination knowledge by working with experienced coordinators and project teams while applying established safety practices and lessons learned during field coordination and system installation activities.
