Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking an Associate MEP Coordinator in the Raleigh-Durham, NC area. The role focuses on coordinating Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing systems to align design intent with construction execution, from design development through construction.

Candidate will review drawings, specifications, and submittals, assist with field coordination per the coordinated model, and work with project teams to resolve constructability challenges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, construction management, or related field is required.
• 2–4 years of experience in construction engineering, project engineering, MEP coordination support, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Supports coordination of MEP systems across design and construction phases to ensure alignment with project objectives.
• Assists in reviewing MEP drawings, specs, and submittals to identify coordination requirements and constructability considerations.
• Collaborates with architects, engineers, project engineers and trade partners to gather coordination information and support resolution of technical issues.
• Participates in MEP coordination meetings and tracks action items for stakeholders.
• Maintains coordination documentation including models, logs, and project records to support alignment and integration.
