Job summary

Turner Construction Company in Austin is seeking a Senior Project Superintendent for Mechanical and Electrical systems to lead on-site coordination and delivery. You will manage subcontractors, ensure safety, schedule, cost control and quality while mentoring field staff and coordinating with engineers on BIM coordination and drawings.

The role requires strong leadership, effective communication, and a track record of delivering complex MEP packages on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or architecture or equivalent with at least 6 years of MEC construction experience.
• Knowledge of building systems, scheduling and cost control.
• Ability to read contract documents, drawings, specifications and BIM coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate work of subcontractors for mechanical and electrical systems on site.
• Ensure safety, schedule adherence, quality and budget compliance.
• Supervise assistants, interns, and field staff; conduct performance feedback.
• Coordinate with engineers/architects on coordination drawings and 3D model reviews.
• Manage the billing process and subcontractor payments; maintain daily progress records.
• Lead inspections, startup, turnover and handover activities.
