Job summary

Turner Construction Company in Beverly Hills, CA seeks a Senior Superintendent for Mechanical and Electrical systems to lead subcontractors and trade labor, ensure safety, schedule delivery, and control quality and budget on complex projects.

You will supervise engineers and interns, coordinate with owners, architects, and engineers, and drive coordination using BIM and master drawing sets to meet project milestones. This role requires strong leadership and deep MEP knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 6+ years of mechanical/electrical/plumbing construction experience.
• Knowledge of building construction, means/methods, scheduling and cost control.
• Proficiency with reading contract documents, drawings and specs.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, direct and coordinate work of subcontractors and Turner trade labor for MEP systems; ensure safety, schedule delivery, quality and budget.
• Supervise Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers and interns; provide input on performance appraisals.
• Develop schedules, sequencing of work, and recovery strategies to maintain project scope and budget.
• Coordinate with owners, architects and engineers on field issues; investigate and resolve.
• Manage billing, monthly estimates, payrolls, invoices and payment applications.
• Ensure installed work conforms to approved contract documents and master coordination drawings.
• Lead inspections, startup, commissioning, turnover and training; manage punchlist.
• Oversee subcontractors and suppliers; ensure conformance with codes and plans.
