Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking an MEP Construction Coordinator in the Columbus, OH area outside the city to oversee mechanical and electrical construction for Mission Critical facilities, including data centers. You will supervise MEP trade contractors and vendors, coordinate schedules, budgets, and documentation from pre-construction through close-out.

Responsibilities include developing scopes, schedules, budgets, managing change orders and RFIs, and commissioning with engineers and owners.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of commercial construction experience specializing in large, sophisticated mechanical and electrical systems
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering (preferred)
• Interpersonal skills for effectively managing relationships with stakeholders, subcontractors, and vendors
• Veterans with U.S. Navy Nuclear Power training or similar complex MEP backgrounds are highly encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

• Supervise all Mechanical and Electrical Trade contractors and vendors
• Coordinate schedules, budgets, reports, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle
• Develop project scopes, schedules, and budgets, and manage change orders and RFIs
• Monitor installation and start-up of MEP systems, and commission projects with engineers and owners
• Manage and lead the MEP team and trade partners from groundbreaking through commissioning and turnover to the owner
