Job summary

Green Key Resources seeks an experienced MEP Senior Superintendent to lead and coordinate all MEP field operations for large data-center and mission-critical projects in Columbus, Ohio.

You will manage mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection subcontractors on site, drive commissioning startup, and ensure safety, quality, and timely turnover. The role requires 10–15+ years of MEP leadership with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• 10-15+ years of experience as an MEP Superintendent or related field leader.
• Experience on data center, mission critical, healthcare, industrial, or large commercial projects preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all MEP field operations from preconstruction through turnover.
• Manage mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection subcontractors onsite.
• Drive project schedule milestones related to commissioning, equipment startup, and system integration.
• Collaborate with project management, owners, engineers, inspectors, and trade partners.
• Ensure quality control and compliance with contract documents and project specifications.
• Conduct regular coordination meetings focused on MEP sequencing and constructability.
• Monitor safety performance and enforce site safety standards.
• Assist with scheduling, look-ahead planning, and resolving field conflicts.
• Support commissioning activities and turnover documentation.
• Maintain proactive communication with all project stakeholders.

• Manage and oversee mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection subcontractors onsite
• Drive project schedule milestones related to commissioning, equipment startup, and system integration
• Collaborate closely with project management, owners, engineers, inspectors, and trade partners
• Ensure quality control and compliance with contract documents and project specifications
• Conduct regular coordination meetings focused on MEP sequencing and constructability
• Monitor safety performance and enforce site safety standards
• Assist with scheduling, look-ahead planning, and resolving field conflicts

• Strong understanding of: Electrical distribution systems, HVAC and mechanical systems, Plumbing and fire protection systems, Commissioning and startup processes
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Experience managing multiple subcontractors and fast-paced schedules
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with construction technology platforms such as Procore, Bluebeam, or similar tools is preferred
