Job summary

FCL Builders in Columbus, OH is seeking an experienced MEP Superintendent to lead field execution, coordinate highly technical MEP systems, and ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence on mission-critical data center projects.

You will oversee daily site operations, manage subcontractors, review drawings in BIM, drive risk mitigation, and partner with project teams to deliver value in a collaborative, employee-owned culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of supervision in industrial or large-scale commercial construction, with mission-critical project experience.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, sequencing, and quality control.
• Experience coordinating field teams and managing RFIs and daily reports.

Responsibilities

• Review contract requirements, drawings, specs, and MEP scopes to understand project expectations.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager and Superintendents on site setup, sequencing, and logistics.
• Lead daily site operations and coordinate all MEP trades (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, low-voltage, BMS).
• Track progress, document costs, and support forecasting and cost control efforts.
• Maintain detailed daily logs, as-built docs, and RFIs; plan BIM-based installation and commissioning.
