Job summary

SpaceX in McGregor, TX is seeking an MEP/Construction Engineer to design, build, and activate infrastructure supporting our long‑term mission. The role involves leading the project team through full MEP engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning in a high‑impact environment.

Travel to SpaceX sites may be required and the position is onsite in the McGregor/Waco area. The candidate should hold a Bachelor's in an engineering discipline and have 3+ years of relevant MEP experience,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, or related engineering field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in the design or build of MEP building systems.
• Experience with electrical and power distribution systems (<600Vac) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project team, consulting engineers, and contractors throughout MEP engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
• Develop and issue drawings, design documentation, and reports for aerospace, industrial, and commercial projects.
• Write, negotiate, and manage construction contracts with subcontractors across multiple disciplines through contract close-out.
• Resolve design and construction conflicts in the field in real-time.
• Coordinate with electrical utility providers for design/engineering to ensure reliable power service to critical site infrastructure.
• Interact with engineers, contractors, fabricators, and project stakeholders
