Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an experienced MEP/Construction Engineer to join the Construction Projects team in the McGregor/Waco area. You will lead cross-disciplinary engineers and contractors to design, build, and commission infrastructure for SpaceX facilities, aligning with program schedules and safety standards.

The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering and 3+ years’ experience in MEP building systems, with hands-on, field-ready capabilities and periodic travel to SpaceX sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience with design or build of MEP building systems.
• Onsite role with extended hours and travel as needed.
• Strong collaboration across disciplines and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project team, engineers, and contractors through MEP design, procurement, construction and commissioning.
• Develop drawings, design documents, and reports for aerospace, industrial, and commercial projects.
• Write and manage construction contracts with subcontractors across multiple disciplines.
• Resolve in-field design and construction conflicts and coordinate with utilities.
