Job summary

RoviSys Building Technologies in Fort Wayne, IN, is seeking a Project Manager to lead our Building Automation team from kickoff to project close. You will manage budgets, schedules, and vendor coordination, guiding engineers and coordinating with customers.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in project leadership, experience with HVAC systems and P&IDs, proficiency in Microsoft Project and Office, and a track record of delivering complex, multi-project initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of project leadership experience
• Experience organizing, scheduling, and leading meetings with internal teams and customers
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
• Microsoft Project
• Basic understanding of HVAC systems, sequences of operations, and P&IDs
• Building automation/industrial controls experience is a plus
• Onsite commissioning experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Accountable for project margin and financial health
• Establish schedule for projects and monitor completion
• Accurately forecast resources for projects
• Review and mitigate project risks
• Present Schedule, Scope, and Resource Plan to leadership
• Manage project financials including reporting, invoicing, and change orders
• Enforce quality plans and lifecycle quality
• Primary commercial contact for customers
• Manage large or multiple concurrent projects
• Identify deviations and recommend corrective actions
• Negotiate terms & conditions with customers
• Provide technical guidance to the project team
• Enforce engineering standards
• Contribute to tools for project management
• Participate in QMS
• Demonstrate strong communication, planning, organization, leadership, and motivation
• Balance project finances, customer satisfaction, and team development
