Job summary

ColonialWebb Contractors Company is seeking a Construction BIM Technician to create coordinated 3D models and fabrication drawings for MEP systems on commercial projects. You will work closely with Project Managers and field teams to resolve conflicts and optimize layouts, aiming to reduce installation costs and ensure alignment with specifications.

Ideal candidates have experience with Revit, CAD detailing, and 3D design, and can interpret construction drawings while collaborating effectively

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with Navisworks, CAD detailing, and Revit preferred but not required.
• Ability to read and interpret contract drawings and specs.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and create coordinated 3D models and detailed fabrication drawings for mechanical, plumbing, or sheet metal systems.
• Identify and resolve design conflicts to reduce installation costs and ensure drawings align with project specs.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and field teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Assist in coordinating with outside systems and perform CAD detailing and 3D design tasks.
