Job summary

Air Group LLC is seeking a talented MEP BIM Coordinator (BIM/VDC) to join its Digital Engineering Studio in New Jersey. The role focuses on creating detailed BIM models and coordinating with engineers, designers and field teams for large-scale commercial and residential projects across NJ.

You will work with AutoCAD and Revit, review clashes, and help produce shop drawings and as-builts while adhering to design standards and project timelines.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in HVAC BIM/VDC coordination.
• Autodesk Revit accreditation or CAM/BIM program accreditation.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings across disciplines.
• Knowledge of MEP systems, sheet metal and piping layout.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating in a team.
• Experience with Navisworks clash detection and reporting.
• Strong problem-solving skills and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage detailed MEP BIM models and drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Coordinate with engineers, designers and field teams for seamless execution.
• Review and resolve clashes with other trades.
• Coordinate shop drawings, fabrication drawings and as-builts for field installation.
• Ensure compliance with design standards and specifications.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior designers/drafters.
• Provide technical support to field teams for project delivery.
