Job summary

Air Group LLC is seeking a talented MEP BIM Coordinator (BIM/VDC) to join its Digital Engineering Studio in New Jersey. The role focuses on creating detailed BIM models and coordinating with engineers, designers and field teams for large-scale commercial and residential projects across NJ.

You will work with AutoCAD and Revit, review clashes, and help produce shop drawings and as-builts while adhering to design standards and project timelines.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in HVAC BIM/VDC coordination.
• Autodesk Revit accreditation or CAM/BIM program accreditation.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings across disciplines.
• Knowledge of MEP systems, sheet metal and piping layout.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating in a team.
• Experience with Navisworks clash detection and reporting.
• Strong problem-solving skills and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

We're looking for a talented MEP BIM Coordinator (BIM/VDC) to join our state-of-the-art Digital Engineering Studio. If you have a passion for MEP trade coordination, AutoCAD and Revit, this is an opportunity to be part of a high-performing, collaborative team working on large-scale commercial and residential projects across NJ.

What You Will Be Doing

• Creating and managing detailed MEP BIM models and engineering drawings using AutoCAD and Revit
• Coordinating with engineers, designers and field teams to ensure seamless project execution
• Reviewing and resolving clashes in coordination with other trades
• Coordinating shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and as-builts for field installation
• Ensuring compliance with design standards, tolerances and specifications
• Assisting in training and mentoring junior designers/drafts
• Providing technical support to field teams to ensure smooth project delivery

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in HVAC BIM/VDC coordination
• Autodesk/Revit accreditation or completion of an accredited CAM/BIM program
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings across multiple disciplines
• Knowledge of MEP systems, sheet metal and piping layout
• Ability to work independently while collaborating in a team environment
• Experience with Navisworks clash detection and reporting
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• US Citizen or Green card holder – no sponsorship available now or in the future
