Job summary

Air Group, LLC is seeking a talented MEP BIM Coordinator (BIM/VDC) to join our Digital Engineering Studio in New Jersey. You will create and manage detailed MEP BIM models using AutoCAD and Revit, coordinate with engineers, designers and field teams, and support cross-discipline project delivery.

The role requires 2+ years in HVAC BIM/VDC, Revit accreditation, ability to read drawings, Navisworks clash detection, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of HVAC BIM/VDC coordination experience.
• Accredited CAM/BIM program or Revit accreditation.
• Ability to read construction drawings across disciplines.
• Knowledge of MEP systems, sheet metal and piping layout.
• US Citizens or Green Card holders only.

Responsibilities

• Creating and managing detailed MEP BIM models and engineering drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Coordinating with engineers, designers and field teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Reviewing and resolving clashes in coordination with other trades.
• Coordinating shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and as-builts for field installation.
• Ensuring compliance with design standards, tolerances and specifications.
• Assisting in training and mentoring junior designers/drafts.
• Providing technical support to field teams to ensure smooth project delivery.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Creating and managing detailed MEP BIM models and engineering drawings using AutoCAD and Revit
• Coordinating with engineers, designers and field teams to ensure seamless project execution

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in HVAC BIM/VDC coordination
• Autodesk/Revit accreditation or completion of an accredited CAM/BIM program
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings across multiple disciplines
• Knowledge of MEP systems, sheet metal and piping layout
• Ability to work independently while collaborating in a team environment
• Experience with Navisworks clash detection and reporting
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• US Citizen or Green card holder – no sponsorship available now or in the future
