Job summary

Swinomish Indian Tribal Community is seeking a Mentorship Coordinator for the Workforce Development program. You will develop a mentorship framework, recruit mentors, and match mentors with mentees based on skills and goals, while building partnerships within the Swinomish community.

You’ll prepare training materials, coordinate events, and promote the program to participants and stakeholders across channels. A background in finance-related mentorship and curriculum development is preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and writing skills.
• Two years of experience providing financial coaching/mentorship services.
• Bachelor’s Degree in finance or equivalent required; will consider related education/experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop a mentorship framework and mentor training curriculum for the organization.
• Create partnerships within Swinomish and the surrounding community to provide a mentor pool.
• Pair mentors and mentees based on skills, interests, and goals.
• Coordinate mentorship events, trainings, and meet-and-greets.
• Oversee recruitment and registration of mentors and internship curricula.
