Job summary

Swinomish Indian Tribal Community is seeking an Environmental Grants Administrator to coordinate and administer over 30 grants for the Department of Environmental Protection. The role involves budgeting, reporting, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and foundation grants.

The position requires strong writing, organizational, and communication skills and will collaborate with tribal staff, grantors, and partners to advance environmental projects on the Swinomish Reservation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public or business administration or related field.
• Two years' experience in grant administration or related area.
• Experience responding to grant offerings, including budgeting and applications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and administer 30+ grants, monitoring budgets and reporting.
• Assist with grant applications, amendments, and closeout activities.
• Liaise between grant program officers, agencies, and tribal finance.
• Prepare data and narratives for timely grant reporting and compliance.
