Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field with one year of progressive experience in program development, training, mentoring, or student engagement.
  • Master’s degree in related field with three years of progressive experience in program development, training, mentoring, or student engagement (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Leads all aspects of the mentorship initiative, aligning with institutional priorities and funding requirements.
  • Recruits, interviews, and selects student mentors with program leadership.
  • Develops and delivers mentor training for effective mentee support.
  • Manages mentorship logistics: scheduling, progress tracking, and data maintenance.
  • Facilitates mentor meetings and supports mentor-mentee relationships.
  • Organizes enrichment activities and events to promote student engagement.
  • Collaborates with faculty, staff, and stakeholders to identify student needs and participation.
  • Develops reporting on mentoring activities and program outcomes.
  • Supports policy and process development to promote inclusive mentoring practices.
