Job summary

David Mason + Associates is seeking an engineering intern to support detailed design and documentation for multiple projects. The role involves assisting with AutoCAD/Revit drawings, preparing construction details, and contributing to reports and calculations under mentor supervision.

The intern will learn the full lifecycle of projects, participate in client meetings, and may assist in field site visits while following safety and office policies.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a 2- or 4-year degree program in a related field.
• Detail oriented, versatile, and enthusiastic.
• Able to take direction and work independently with supervision.
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools (SharePoint, OneDrive, Outlook).
• Maintain time sheets, mileage, and reimbursement documents per policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist with engineering plans using AutoCAD/Revit or similar tools.
• Assist in producing final construction drawings, details and specs.
• Assist with reports and calculations for assigned projects.
• Support project managers as requested and participate in client meetings.
• Learn and observe other services offered and perform field site visits as needed.
