Job summary

Care New England Health System in Rhode Island seeks a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant to support nurses in direct patient care and activities of daily living, fostering a safe and therapeutic environment on the unit through observation and interaction. The position requires excellent written and verbal communication, and a preferred Bachelor’s in social sciences or related behavioral health experience.

CNA license is preferred with a 2% pay differential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any of the social sciences preferred and/or comparable behavioral health experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
• Experience in working with mentally ill and/or developmentally delayed clients.
• Candidate must have excellent written skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• C.N.A. Preferred: 2% Pay Differential Available to Applicants who maintain an Active CNA License.
