Job summary

Colonial IU 20 is seeking a Mental Health Worker for the Emotional Support Program. The role provides direct treatment and educational strategies, supporting individualized treatment plans for students with emotional disturbances.

Applicants should have a bachelor's degree in a mental health field, experience with behavior management and special education, and be able to apply TACT-2 assessments and restraints. Basic computer skills and compliance with clearances are required.

Description

Mental Health Worker for the Emotional Support Program.

Provide direct treatment and educational strategies in a supportive role to meet individualized treatment of assigned students. Provide monitoring services on each individual treatment plan to ensure compliance with the Department of Public Welfare and Colonial IU 20 standards.

The salary represents a 188-day work year. New employees who begin after the first day of the school year will have their salary prorated to the numbers of work days remaining in the school year.
