Qualifications

• BLS within 30 days (AHA).
• CADC certification within 3 years of hire.
• Maintain control over personal mood-altering substances.
• If in recovery, minimum 2 years of uninterrupted recovery.

Responsibilities

• Assists the interdisciplinary treatment team in patient assessments and the development of goal directed treatment.
• Documents activities according to policies and procedures of the IIAR.
• Provides emergency assistance and de-escalation using CPI techniques.
• Works with patients who present dual disorders (Co-Occurring Substance Use and Mental Health).
• Guides daily schedule activities to provide optimum treatment and positive empowerment.
• Ensures patient contact respects dignity, culture and confidentiality.
