Job summary

Carle Health is seeking an experienced behavioral health clinician to support inpatient units with assessment, treatment planning, psychotherapy, and discharge planning. The role emphasizes collaboration with the interdisciplinary team and families to achieve treatment goals.

The candidate should hold an LCSW and/or LCPC in Illinois, complete CPI training within 3 months, and be willing to travel to Carle Health facilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work.
• 1+ year of relevant work experience.
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and/or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Illinois.
• CPI Training completed within 3 months.
• Ability to travel to Carle Health facilities and drive own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provides individual, group, and family counseling to assist patients/families in achieving treatment goals.
• Facilitates a minimum of one regularly scheduled group therapy/week.
• Assures that families are involved in treatment a minimum of two times/week.
• Provides family counseling as stipulated on the treatment plan (adult/geriatric unit).
• Documentation is timely, succinct, legible, and uses the DAIR format.
