Job summary

Ellie Mental Health-Capital Region NY is seeking therapists for in-person, hybrid, and remote roles in Woodbridge, VA. We value creativity, collaboration, and a fun, authentic workplace.

A master’s degree in a behavioral science field, VA licensure or eligibility, and experience with psychosocial assessments and treatment planning are preferred. We offer flexible scheduling, opportunities for advancement, and a supportive team focused on work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in behavioral sciences or related field.
• Experience with completing psychosocial assessments, treatment plans, and clinical case notes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to complete and submit documentation of services promptly.
• Experience working with diverse populations.
• Ability to maintain appropriate boundaries with clients.
• Experience with children, adolescents, and young adults.
• Proficiency with standard office technology is expected; Valant EHR experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete psychosocial assessments, develop treatment plans, and document clinical notes.
• Communicate clearly in writing and speech with clients and team members.
• Submit service documentation promptly and accurately.

Some Necessary Requirements

• Have a master’s degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university
• Have a full VA clinical license (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) or be a master’s-level supervisee or resident working toward licensure, with the ability to practice independently
• Experienced in completing psychosocial assessments, treatment plans, and clinical case notes
• Be effective in written and verbal communication skills
• Be able to complete and submit documentation of services and other documents promptly
• Have experience and comfort in working with diverse populations
• Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients
• Experience with children, adolescents, and young adults
• Proficient in the use of standard office technology (computers, e-mail, etc.) and Electronic Health Record systems (experience with Valant a plus)
• Ability to pass a background check
