Job summary

New Directions Mental Health is seeking licensed therapists to join a collaborative clinical team. You will conduct culturally sensitive assessments and deliver outpatient individual and family therapy, developing crisis and wellness plans while coordinating discharge planning with a multidisciplinary team.

The role emphasizes ethical practice, ongoing professional development, and close collaboration with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and other providers to improve access to mental health

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or related field required.
• Provisional license per state regulation if required is acceptable.
• Educational background that leads to professional licensing and ethics training.

Responsibilities

• Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new clients and families.
• Provide outpatient individual and family therapy tailored to each client’s needs.
• Develop crisis, safety, relapse prevention, and wellness plans.
• Participate in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning.
• Ensure timely billing, documentation, and insurance authorization forms.

Education

Master's degree in Social Work or related field

Provisional license per state regulation (if required)

Educational background leading to professional licensing
