Job summary

Embark Behavioral Health – Chevy Chase is seeking skilled therapists to support adolescents and families in our PHP and IOP programs. The role focuses on individual, family, and group therapy, with a typical caseload of 4–6 clients and strong documentation practices.

On-site position in Chevy Chase, MD with a schedule that includes Monday–Thursday and Friday hours. Candidates should hold a Master’s degree and be eligible for Maryland licensure; CAQH/NPI onboarding is expected.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy or related field.
• Active Maryland licensure or eligibility: LMSW/LGPC/LGMFT (Assoc/Provisional) or LCSW-C/LCPC/LCMFT (Fully Licensed).
• 1+ year of clinical outpatient, IOP or PHP experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with clients ages 12-28; typical caseload 4-6 clients.

Location: 2 Wisconsin Circle, Suite 230, Chevy Chase, MD 20815 (On-site)Compensation:

• Associate/Provisional License: $65,000 – $75,000 a year (DOE)
• Fully Licensed Clinicians: $75,000 – $80,000 a year (DOE)

Schedule: (Full-time)

• Monday - Thursday: 11:00am - 7:00pm
• Friday: 10:00am - 4:00pm

Our growing Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) in Chevy Chase is seeking passionate, skilled therapists who are ready to make a meaningful impact in the lives of adolescents and their families.

Responsibilities

• Work with clients ages 12-28. Typical caseload is 4-6 clients.
• Deliver individual, family, and group therapy using evidence-based practices.
• Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans centered on client needs.
• Provide parent coaching and maintain consistent family communication.
• Ensure timely, accurate documentation and compliance with Maryland regulations.
• Collaborate on discharge planning and outcome tracking.
• Uphold ethical standards and confidentiality in all aspects of care.
• Contribute to a positive, team-based clinical culture that values compassion and results.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field.
• Active Maryland licensure or eligibility for one of the following:
  • LMSW, LGPC, LGMFT(Associate/Provisional)
  • LCSW-C, LCPC, LCMFT(Fully Licensed)

Preferred Experience:

• 1+ year of clinical experience in an outpatient, IOP, or PHP setting.
• Experience using relational, experiential, and systemic modalities.
• Passion for working with adolescents, young adults, and families.
• Strong clinical documentation and diagnostic skills.
• Familiarity with outcome-based treatment planning and assessments.
• Willingness to obtain aCAQH profileandNPIduring onboarding.
