Seeds of Joy Psychiatry, LLC in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Part-time Therapist (Licensed or Non-Independently Licensed) to support perinatal and general mental health care. This W-2 role is approximately 20 client hours per week, with pay at $45 per client hour for non-independently licensed clinicians or $60 per client hour for independently licensed clinicians.

You will provide individual therapy, complete intakes, and collaborate with PMHNPs, doulas, lactation consultants, and OB/midwifery

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, or a related field.
• Active New Mexico license or ability to obtain one.
• Ability to credential with Medicaid and other insurers.
• Commitment to trauma-informed, anti-racist, culturally responsive care.

Seeds of Joy Psychiatry provides trauma-informed and inclusive mental health services, specializing in reproductive psychiatry. We’re a growing group practice in Albuquerque. We care for people through pregnancy, postpartum, loss, and every season beyond, with a deep commitment to BIPOC and LGBTQIA2S+ birthing people and families.

We’re adding a therapist to work alongside our psychiatric nurse practitioners and help shape new perinatal programs as we grow.

What You’ll Do

• Provide individual therapy for adults, with an emphasis on perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, birth trauma, pregnancy and infant loss, and major life transitions
• Complete intake assessments and treatment plans, using measurement-based tools such as the EPDS, PHQ-9, and GAD-7
• Collaborate closely with our PMHNPs on shared patients
• Coordinate with doulas, lactation consultants, and OB/midwifery partners when appropriate
• See clients in person at our Albuquerque office and by telehealth
• Complete timely, thorough documentation
• Co-facilitate therapy groups as our perinatal programs grow, if you’re interested

What You Bring

Required:

• A master’s degree in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, or a related field
• An active New Mexico license, either independent (LPCC, LISW, LMFT) or non-independent (LMHC, LMSW, LAMFT)
• The ability to be credentialed with insurance plans, including Medicaid
• A genuine commitment to trauma-informed, anti-racist, culturally responsive care

Preferred:

• Perinatal mental health training or experience, plus PMH-C certification or interest in earning it
• Training in approaches such as IFS, EMDR, CBT, DBT, or ACT
• Experience serving BIPOC, Indigenous, LGBTQIA2S+, and Medicaid populations
