Foresight Mental Health in California is seeking an experienced Maternal Mental Health Therapist to join our MMH Specialty Program. You will provide evidence-based perinatal care and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support families during pregnancy and postpartum.

The role includes managing a 25–35 client caseload, delivering individual and group therapy, developing education for staff and clients, and advancing program development to improve access to quality care across California.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required for the position.
• Two years post-licensure experience in behavioral health, IOP or PHP.
• PMH-C certification preferred; significant perinatal mental health experience also acceptable.

Join Our Growing Maternal Mental Health Specialty Program! At Foresight Mental Health, our purpose is to improve access to high-quality mental health care across California. We're looking for a experienced Maternal Mental Health Therapist to join our growing Maternal Mental Health (MMH) Specialty Program.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and/or group therapy to clients in the MMH Specialty Program using evidence-based perinatal and reproductive mental health approaches.
• Participate in interdisciplinary MMH rounds, contributing to case discussions, treatment planning, and program development.
• Participate in interdisciplinary MMH rounds, contributing to case discussions, treatment planning, and program development.
• Collaborate with psychiatry and other disciplines to ensure coordinated, comprehensive care.
• Provide individual and group therapy to individuals who are trying to conceive or in the perinatal period using evidence-based approaches.
• Maintain a clinical caseload between 25-35 clients depending on program needs and administrative time.

Education and Outreach

• Develop and deliver internal education on perinatal and reproductive mental health.
• Create and present client-facing education, workshops, or support groups for community engagement.
• Serve as an advocate for maternal mental health within and outside the organization.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field
• Postpartum Support International PMH-C certification strongly preferred. Candidates without PMH-C certification should demonstrate significant focused experience providing mental health care to patients during pregnancy and the postpartum period.
• Minimum of two years post license experience in behavioral health, IOP or PHP experience.
• Proficiency with essential technology platforms, such as EHR systems, Zoom, Google Suite, and Dayforce
