Job summary

Chrysalis Psychiatry in Albuquerque, NM seeks a dedicated Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMHC or LMFT) to join our outpatient team. This in-office role offers a collaborative environment with both full-time and part-time options.

Compensation includes $50 per billable hour, with a flexible schedule and no weekends. Responsibilities include individual and family therapy for adults and adolescents, assessments, treatment planning, and crisis intervention as needed.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling required.
• LMHC or LMFT or license eligible in New Mexico.
• DBT, ERP or EMDR experience a plus.
• Strong knowledge of mental health disorders and counseling approaches.
• Strong analytical skills to assess and build treatment plans.
• Excellent listening and communication skills.
• Crisis intervention skills.
• In-person visits; some telemedicine follow-ups as needed.

We offer a variety of mental health services including medication management and interventional treatments for PTSD, depression, and other mental illnesses.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMHC or LMFT) to join our team in New Mexico. This is an in-office position, offering the opportunity to work in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual and family therapy to adults and adolescents with various mental health concerns
• Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans that are tailored to each client's unique needs
• Maintain accurate and timely client records and progress notes
• Provide crisis intervention and risk assessments as needed
• Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education opportunities

Qualifications

• Position is onsite in Albuquerque, NM. Must be able to commute or relocate. Position is not remote.
• Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling
• LMHC, LMFT or License eligible in the state of New Mexico
• Experience with DBT, ERP or EMDR a plus.
• Strong knowledge of mental health disorders, as well as psychology, therapy and counseling approaches
• Strong analytical skills to assess a patient’s situation and build treatment plans
• Excellent listening skills to best understand a patient’s issues and concerns
• Excellent communication skills to effectively guide patients and establish trust
• Crisis intervention skills to respond to patients in acute distress
• All new patient visits conducted in person, but we offer a mixture of in-person and telemedicine for follow-up visits based on patient needs
