Job summary

Lighthouse Care Center of Augusta, part of Universal Health Services, is seeking a Mental Health Technician to support a patient-centered care approach. The role focuses on observation, safety, and coordination with the nursing team to ensure high-quality, cost-effective programming in a psychiatric setting.

You will participate in treatment planning, admit new patients, orient them to the unit, and help organize group therapies while maintaining thorough documentation and complying with

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in a human services field required.
• CNA/RB-T certifications encouraged to apply.
• Valid driver’s license w/o major violations in 3+ years.
• Experience with adolescents with emotional disturbance or co‑occurring disorders preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification required or obtainable within first week.
• Must be willing to obtain Handle With Care restraint certification.
• Lifeguard certification eligibility offers additional pay.

Responsibilities
