Job summary

Lighthouse Care Center of Augusta seeks a Mental Health Technician to join its Nursing Team in Augusta, GA. You will help implement a patient-centered therapeutic plan and ensure high-quality, cost-effective programming in line with the mission and standards of Universal Health Services.

The role emphasizes observation rounds, treatment planning participation, admissions support, unit orientation, group therapy prep, and meticulous documentation, with development opportunities within UHS

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age; Associates or Bachelor’s level education in a human service related field required.
• Certified Nursing Assistants and Registered Behavioral Technicians are encouraged to apply.
• Valid driver’s license with no suspensions or tickets for major violations in the past three years.
• Experience working with children and adolescents with serious emotional disturbance and/or co-occurring substance abuse disorders preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification required or ability to obtain within first week of hire.
• Must be able and willing to become certified in therapeutic restraint technique program (Handle With Care).
• Additional pay offered for lifeguard certification.

Responsibilities
