Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED is required.
• One year experience in a mental health care setting preferred (Mental Health Technician or CNA).
• Appropriate education in a mental health related field might be substituted for experience.

Responsibilities

• Support and implement Beacon Behavioral Health's Mission, Vision and Core Values.

• Demonstrate teamwork by carrying out routine tasks within the Beacon program.
• Assist in maintaining a safe and therapeutic milieu by monitoring program rules and assisting in patient handling when necessary.
• Document patient movements, observations and significant occurrences as required by nursing staff.
• Assist clinicians with patient care tasks and therapists with interventions.
• Perform clerical duties related to Health Information Management, Intake, Administrative tasks and clinic operations.
• Be flexible, solve problems, and maintain cost-effective operations.
