Job summary

Lighthouse Care Center of Augusta, part of Universal Health Services, is seeking a Mental Health Technician to join the nursing team in Augusta, GA. You will participate in treatment planning, orient new patients, and support group therapy while maintaining accurate documentation.

The role focuses on observing patients, coordinating patient-centric care, and upholding regulatory and quality standards to deliver high-quality, cost-effective programs for adolescents and adults with behavioral

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age with high school diploma or GED
• CPR/First Aid certification required or ability to obtain within first week of hire
• Valid driver’s license with no suspensions or tickets for major traffic violations for at least three years
• Experience working with children and adolescents with serious emotional disturbance and/or co-occurring substance abuse disorders preferred
• Certified Nursing Assistants and Registered Behavioral Technicians are encouraged to apply
• Must be able and willing to become certified in therapeutic restraint technique program (Handle With Care)
• Additional pay offered for lifeguard certification

Responsibilities
