Job summary

Lighthouse Care Center of Augusta, part of Universal Health Services, seeks a Mental Health Technician to join the Lighthouse Nursing Team in Augusta, GA. The role focuses on patient-centered therapy and coordination of care within a structured mental health program.

Responsibilities include treatment planning participation, admissions support, patient orientation, group session prep, and thorough documentation to ensure high-quality, compliant care across the unit.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age with high school diploma or GED.
• CPR/First Aid certification required or ability to obtain within first week of hire.
• Must be able and willing to become certified in therapeutic restraint technique program (Handle With Care).
• Valid driver’s license with no suspensions or tickets for major traffic violations for at least three years.
• Experience working with children and adolescents with serious emotional disturbance and/or co-occurring substance abuse disorders preferred.
• CNAs and Registered Behavioral Technicians are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities
