Mental Health Technicians (MHT) at Friends Hospital assist in direct care and management of patients across all age ranges with medical and behavioral issues as directed by the treatment team. MHTs assist with unit programming by facilitating and conducting groups and ensuring patients are engaged in active treatment at all times. They assist with daily leisure activities and all activities associated with daily living within the functional ability of patients, considering their level of growth and development.
