Job summary

Baptist Health - Central Alabama is seeking a Mental Health Technician to provide patient care and assist with daily living activities at Prattville Baptist Hospital. You will work closely with nurses, lead patient groups, and ensure the well-being of patients during their stay.

This role requires a high school diploma and nursing assistant certification while being capable of addressing the physical and emotional needs of patients in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of CNA or PCT certification preferred.
• BLS certification is required.
• Ability to handle and work with patients effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care at the direction of the Charge Nurse or Registered Nurse.
• Assist patients with daily living activities, admission, and discharge procedures.
• Lead patient groups and orient new patients to the unit.
