Baptist Health - Central Alabama is seeking a Geriatric Mental Health Technician at Prattville Baptist Hospital. The role supports patient care under the Charge Nurse or RN, assists with ADLs, and helps with admission and discharge processes.

The position involves leading or co-facilitating patient groups, orienting new patients, and performing routine safety checks, with additional duties as assigned within the unit.

Formación

• High School graduate or equivalent required; CNA or PCT certification preferred.
• BLS certification required; additional area-specific certifications may be required.
• Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Technician certification or equivalent experience.

Responsabilidades

• Provide patient care under the direction of the Charge Nurse or RN.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living.
• Assist with admission and discharge procedures.
• Lead or co-facilitate patient groups and orient new patients to the unit.
• Complete safety/location checks of all patients and other care tasks as assigned.
