Position OverviewThe Division of Developmental Disabilities is seeking to hire a Mental Health Technician III for the Choate Mental Health and Developmental Center located in Anna, Illinois to provide physical support with personal care services to individuals on an assigned shift, on an assigned unit. Conducts individual and group programs. Verifies individual safety and protection through monitoring and supervision. Teaches and directs individuals in the maintenance of a clean, safe, and secure environment. Serves in an advanced worker capacity providing assistance to lower-level staff on complex problems. Ensures compliance with Illinois Department of Public Health requirements when performing duties. Functions as shift charge in the absence of higher-level Mental Health Technicians. Travels in performance of job duties.
