Job summary

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, monitoring patient vital signs, gathering samples, de-escalation and crisis support, documenting care in the EHR, and participating in milieu management and therapeutic activities.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in behavioral sciences or equivalent.
• 1 year of supervised health care-related experience or education in behavioral sciences.
• CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) daily.
• Monitor and record vital signs and collect patient data.
• Collect routine specimens as directed (urine, stool, finger-stick glucose).
• Respond to call lights and assist nurses with procedures.
• Document and chart care in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
