Mental Health Technician - various shifts available
Horizon Health is seeking a Mental Health Technician for our BRAND NEW unit called AlTru in Grand Forks, ND. This 24-bed inpatient unit will serve both adult and pediatric patients, with plans to expand to an additional 24 beds in 2026. Altru Health System and Universal Health Services are collaborating to expand inpatient behavioral health services.
The MHT will perform patient care activities under the supervision of the Nurse Manager. Responsibilities include observing and recording patient information relevant to the treatment plan, reporting this to the Registered Nurse, escorting and monitoring patient activities, and attending to their personal needs. The MHT must be capable of physically assisting patients and managing emergencies.
