Job summary

Black Women's Mental Health Institute is seeking Mental Health/Behavior Technicians and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to deliver in-home and community-based ABA services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related developmental disabilities.

Key responsibilities include assisting children in developing social, communication, and behavioral skills, documenting progress and milestones, and following behavior change plans created by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).

Qualifications

  • Passion for working with children with special needs.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Completion of relevant college coursework in psychology, education, social work, behavioral science, or human development, or at least one year of experience working with children in related roles such as camp counselor, paraprofessional, or behavioral interventionist.
