Job summary

Professional Therapy Solutions is seeking a Behavior Technician/RBT to join our team in Riverview, Florida. This role involves providing in-home and community-based ABA therapy to children and adults on the autism spectrum, under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.

As a Behavior Technician/RBT, you will implement individualized treatment plans, monitor progress, and support treatment goals. Full-time and part-time positions are available, offering competitive pay and opportunities for leadership development.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• BLS certification or willingness to obtain certification.
• Experience working in a home setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy in-home, school, and community-based environments.

• Collect data to monitor the progress and effectiveness of the individualized treatment plan.

Our Behavior Technicians / RBTs are an essential part of the ABA Home Therapy team, providing direct in-home, school, and community-based ABA services to our clients. They work under the direct supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized treatment plans that address communication, behavior, feeding, ADLs, and social skills.

ABA Home Therapy offers Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities based on client needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy in-home, school, and community-based environments.
• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by BCBAs.
• Collect data to monitor the progress and effectiveness of the individualized treatment plan.
• Provide regular written and verbal progress updates on treatment goals.
• Support the BCBA with training families on implementing individualized treatment plans.
• Participate in team meetings and training workshops.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism, including dress, timeliness, and communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field.
• BLS certification or willingness to obtain certification.
• Experience working with children with developmental disabilities.
• Experience working with children with behavior problems.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience working in a home setting.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, valid car insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Fluent English required.
• FOR RBTs: Registered Behavior Technician Certification through the BACB.
