Job summary

Main Line Health's Bryn Mawr Hospital is hiring a Mental Health Technician to support patients on an inpatient psychiatric unit. The role is full-time with three 12-hour shifts weekly (days and nights) and weekend coverage as described.

You will assist with daily living, monitor vitals, observe behavior, plan activities, respond to crises, and work closely with Psychiatric Nurses to deliver safe, quality care, following approved policies.

Qualifications

• One year of psychiatric experience on an inpatient psychiatric unit or comparable experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required; BA in Psychology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living and activities of daily living.
• Take vital signs and monitor patient status.
• Observe patient behaviors and respond to crises as needed.
• Plan patient activities and support groups in coordination with nursing staff.
