Additional Information About the Role

• Preferred experience as a CNA, nurse assistant, emergency medical technician, or surgical technician
• Minimum of 2 shifts every six weeks - rotating
• Shifts include:
• Days: 7 am - 7 pm
• Nights: 7 pm - 7 am

The Psychiatric Center – Delmar Campus is a behavioral health inpatient program committed to providing high-quality care. We serve the St. Louis community and surrounding areas. The Delmar Campus features two 25-bed units offering treatment for depression, anxiety, and behavioral health recovery, staffed by a multidisciplinary team including nurses, psychiatrists, medical physicians, social workers, activity staff, music therapists, and pharmacists.

Role Purpose

Responsible for performing services in caring for the personal needs, comfort, and treatment of psychiatric patients under the supervision of a registered nurse.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily hygiene, personal care, physical activity, meet nutritional needs, and document activities as required.
• Implement direct patient care under nurse supervision.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, treatments, procedures, and examinations.
• Perform general clerical tasks.
• Collect and record specimens, including phlebotomy.
