Job summary

Baptist Health in Corbin, KY is seeking a Mental Health Tech (Hospital) PRN for 1st shift at the Trillium Center I. The Adult Psychiatric I unit cares for adults 18 and over and utilizes an interdisciplinary team approach.

The Mental Health Tech performs clerical duties, assists with basic patient care, and helps with group therapy sessions to promote independent functioning and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus one year healthcare experience or 30 college credits.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• CNA training within 30 days of hire.
• Aegis training within designated post-hire timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living and monitor condition.
• Provide compassionate care and support to patients and families.
• Record vital signs, intake/output, and changes in condition.
• Assist with restorative activities and ambulation.
• Maintain records, coordinate services, and manage supplies.
