Job summary

Compass Intervention Center is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Tech to join our team. The role supports a safe, therapeutic milieu, provides direct client care under supervision, and fosters coping tools through education groups and daily living activities.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's in Psychology or related field (preferred), plus 1 year of psychiatric experience. CPR and de-escalation skills are required, with growth opportunities and a $1,500 sign-on bonus for 2nd shift.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Psychology or related field highly preferred; high school diploma required.
• One-year experience working with a psychiatric client population preferred.
• Must possess knowledge of psychiatric group processes, therapeutic relationships, crisis management with aggressive behaviors, and CPR training.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and therapeutic milieu with direct client care under supervision.
• Deliver crisis intervention and de-escalation as needed.
• Lead individual and family education groups and activities of daily living.
• Supervise clients and empower them with coping tools.
