Alliance Health Center in Meridian, Mississippi seeks a Mental Health Tech to support patient care in a 154-bed acute psychiatric and chemical dependency hospital.

You will assist in implementing treatment plans, document behaviors, de‑escalate crises, and foster positive relationships with patients and coworkers while following facility policies. Eligible for comprehensive benefits and career development within UHS.

Qualifications

• Education: HS Diploma; Bachelor's in Social Services or Psychology preferred.
• Experience in mental health settings is beneficial but not required.
• Ability to document and communicate effectively with teams.

Responsibilities

• Participate in development and implementation of patients' treatment plans.
• Provide care and close supervision, documenting behaviors.
• Develop positive relationships with patients and coworkers.
• Follow facility policies and procedures; crisis intervention as needed.
• Demonstrate counseling skills and maintain professional boundaries.
