Job summary

• Ability to work with consumers/residents, families, and staff in a caring and respectful manner.
• Ability to read and write at least at the secondary school level and to follow written and oral instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff, consumers/residents, families, and the public.

Responsibilities

• Regular inspections inside the facility to ensure safety and cleanliness of consumer rooms and common areas.
• Report serious incidents promptly and complete incident reports per policy.
• Explain services and programs to consumers, instruct on daily living skills and conflict resolution.
• Assist in attending to personal hygiene, grooming, nutrition and daily living activities.
