GEO Secured Services is seeking aRegistered Nurse to provide psychiatry services within a correctional facility as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team. You will contribute to medication management, health status evaluations, and observed behaviors to support inmate care.

The role requires experience with crisis intervention, medical emergencies, and nursing care, with focus on patient well-being and safety in a secure setting.

Qualifikationen

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in nursing; licensed RN in the state where facility is located.
• Experience in management and treatment of mental health patients.
• Competence in crisis intervention and handling medical emergencies.

Aufgaben

• Prepares daily call out list and pulls charts for providers.
• Enters data for every patient seen by psychiatric clinicians.
• Ensures AIMS is completed for inmates on antipsychotic meds.
• Carries out clinician orders, signs off, and schedules labs/EKGs.
• Files evaluations, AIMS, and consent paperwork in proper records.
• Monitors labs and refers patients to appropriate providers.
• Participates in development of individual treatment plans and MDT meetings.
• Generates monthly reports via computer database.
• Ensures 30-day medication supply on release.
