Supportive Concepts for Families, Inc. in Birdsboro, PA, is seeking a Mental Health Residential Specialist to provide trauma-informed, recovery-oriented support to residents.

You will assist with daily living activities, coordinate medical appointments, and promote independence while upholding HIPAA and safety standards.

This full-time role offers training, supportive team environment, and opportunities to grow in the behavioral health field.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License.
• Previous experience working directly with individuals with MH diagnoses and disabilities.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in English communication, both verbal and written.
• Ability to successfully complete all required training programs.
• Ability to pass Criminal Record History Clearances, FBI, Physical Examination, and Drug Screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma-informed, recovery-oriented support that promotes safety, empowerment, emotional wellness, and personal growth.
• Assist residents with daily living activities, goal achievement, budgeting, community participation, and independent living skills.
• Coordinate and support medical appointments, medication administration oversight, and health-related needs.
• Encourage social engagement, recreational participation, positive coping skills, and the development of natural support systems.
• Complete documentation, maintain compliance with agency and HIPAA standards, and help ensure a safe, clean, and supportive residential environment.
